Homemade Hot Apple Cider
Inspired by The Country Cook, here's how we make it out here in the wild:
What you'll need:
-
2 quarts (8 cups) apple cider
-
½ cup packed brown sugar
-
1 tsp whole cloves
-
1 tsp whole allspice
-
2 cinnamon sticks
-
1 orange (sliced, with peel)
How to make it:
-
Pour the cider into a slow cooker or large pot.
-
Stir in the brown sugar.
-
Wrap the cloves and allspice in cheesecloth or a tea strainer (or just toss them in rustic-style 😌).
-
Add the cinnamon sticks and orange slices.
-
Let it simmer on low for 1-2 hours.
Your whole space will be filled with instant fall magic.🍂
Serve warm, wrap up in your softest tee, and sip slow. Check out our NEW line of long-sleeve tees here.
