There's a funny little coincidence at the heart of what we do. We're Wandering Owl Adventure Co. Our giving partner is the Outer Banks Wildlife Shelter — OWLS. And so many of you, the wonderful people who make this whole thing possible, love owls as much as we do.

Meet OWLS: The Outer Banks Wildlife Shelter

OWLS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Newport, North Carolina — right in our new home state. Their mission is beautifully simple: the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured and orphaned wildlife.

Every day, they take in native animals — owls, hawks, songbirds, waterfowl, and so many others — that have been hurt or orphaned, provide expert care, and work to return them to the wild where they belong. It's hands-on, deeply compassionate work, and it makes a real difference for wildlife across our region.
